Led by world class, internationally-trained Executive Chef Jeff Burgess, Rafiki features classic Provencal country fare prepared with the freshest, locally-sourced, all-natural ingredients. Trained in France, Italy and New York City, Chef Jeff has refined his unique style of cooking that focuses on flavors and ingredients in a simple, elegant style.

About Executive Chef Jeff Burgess
Executive Chef Jeff Burgess’s skills were developed during years of restaurant experience in New England and New York City and then honed in Italy and Saint Tropez France. Chef Jeff brings classic Provencal country fare with an emphasis on locally-sourced, all-natural ingredients to Rafiki Bistro.
With extensive training and experience in fine restaurants in Rhode Island, three star restaurants in New York City, Italy, and France, Jeff literally brings a world of experience to execute Rafiki Bistro’s vision to combine traditional Provencal food with New England ingredients and a focus on comfort foods.
Chef Jeff’s love affair with foods began in junior high school and has grown over the years as he has refined his own unique style of cooking that focuses on flavors and ingredients done in a simple, elegant style. Most recently Chef Jeff was the Executive Chef at Zooma in Providence, Rhode Island, where he re-energized that establishment’s passion for food and premier service.

Friday and Saturday 5 pm to 1 am.
